Wow I can't believe I haven't blogged since June! Literally so much has happened in my life you'd think I woulda shared it with the world. I'll try to keep this short but I got a lot to write about....
Ireland was amazing!! It is easily the most beautiful place in the world. Not that I've seen much of the world, but when we were driving around the Ring of Kerry, I realized where the term "breathtaking" came from. But yeah the short synopsis is it was beautiful and the people are all awesome and I would go back in a heartbeat.
Now on to my apartment! I'm living in Brookline and it is absolutely fantastic. It's the perfect mix of suburban peace with urban accessibility. Also being out on my own is just fun and basically a new experience. I don't know why but freshman year didn't really count. It's just cool being in the city. The other night me and Sarah just went to the North End for dinner cuz it's a quick train ride. I love being that close to everything.
Now for the most exciting news..... I GOT A JOB!!!! And it is absolutely perfect for me!!! I actually wrote a blog about the same company about a year and a half ago but they were looking for someone they could give internship credits to and I was going to be graduating shortly. But their other accountant got another job so they had an opening and one of my old professors emailed everyone about it. I went for an interview and my new boss, Dan, called me an hour later saying I got the job. I'm still technically a contractor until the end of December, but I'm pretty positive that I'll be joining them as a full employee heading into the new year. O btw the name of the company is OurStage, Inc. Everyone should go to Ourstage.com and check out what the company's all about. They're helping up and coming artists get their name out there and maybe earn a few bucks in the process. Anyway the job is great and I'm doing everything an accountant would do. It's such amazing experience and it's such an amazing company.
Other than that I'm still painting on the side occasionally and I'm doing pretty well learning the piano. I can almost play the entirety of "Imagine" by John Lennon! Music's great so I'll probably write another blog about my newest musical influences.
But now it is time for bed. Goodnight All.
