Yeah just one of those moods so i'll write a little bit...
I'm gettin my hopes insanely up about a job interview I'm going to on Wednesday. it's a Staff Accountant role with a private equity firm right in Boston. Basically a perfect position for me and pays pretty well so I'm getting really excited and just praying my job search is finally gonna end. Hopefully I'll wow this lady at the interview.
Strangely my compulsion to talk has ended pretty abruptly so i'll stop for now. Goodnight all.

Another random music blog
Yeah I've found some more good music and feel I have to share it with someone. I've been on kind of a spending binge on itunes lately. I started adding a lot for when I was painting cuz I brought my ipod docking station thingy and could listen to anything I wanted. Because of this, I decided to buy any musical I've ever heard of. Not literally of course, but I bought les miserables, chess, the secret garden, and 13, and downloaded wicked and little women and spamlot that I already had. All these are good musicals and I will have a great time listening to them.
The best purchase I made was Jason Robert Brown's "Wearing Someone Else's Clothes." JRB has been my favorite composer for a long time and this CD absolutely exemplifies every reason that I like him. I was already in love with his other musicals; The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, Parade, and most recently 13. Wearing Someone Else's Clothes is basically a random collection of some of his songs that had not been put out yet, played and sung by him. The music is so diverse and amazingly put together I already can't stop listening to it. It spurs and inspires me to get my ass up and practice the piano or write something.
A couple other random great songs are worth mentioning too. Awake by Josh Groban is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs from him, and that's very tough to do. It was released on the deluxe version of his cd "Awake" and not the original (yeah figure that one out) so i never heard it much before I downloaded it. Another one is a song called "Flight" by Craig Carnelia. Apparently he's big in the musical scene too but I had never really heard of him before this song. It has some of the most beautiful harmonies I've ever heard and is overall so well done I, also, can't stop listening to it.
As you can imagine, I do a lot of listening with these new songs, so I am becoming a world class Freecell Solitaire player. prolly not a good thing but i can't help it! They're all so good!! Anyway back to Freecell and singing JRB at the top of my lungs.

Painting
So I just finished up a big side job at my aunt and uncle's house and I am insanely proud of my work. I basically painted their entire main floor; kitchen, family room, living room, dining room, front hallway and staircase. After every room they got more and more surprised at how well I was doing and especially how fast I was going. It built my pride up a lot and I'm very pumped I did a good job. I may be putting pictures of my work in a blog if my aunt ends up taking them. It was actually pretty fun to just go and listen to my music and paint with no real pressure. Good way to make a few bucks while looking for a job.
Which brings me to my next subject. I don't know what I want to do with my life!!!!!!! I know it's terrible timing but more and more lately I want to dedicate my time to music and becoming a composer again. It'll always be my true passion and I'm starting to reconsider sitting at a desk for the rest of my life. Probably mainly because I don't have an accounting job yet, but I just feel my interest in it dimming more every day. I'll just keep going with both til I get a sign or something. I'm teaching myself the piano right now so that I can better understand the fundamentals and make better music.
Other than that I'm looking forward to a relaxing week resting from the long hours I was putting in at the house.
